What are the courses offered at both universities?

Basically, I will compare between UKM and UNITEN that will represent for both public and private universities. In UKM, it recommends a large variety of academic programmes covering both the arts and sciences. In main campus of UKM located in Bangi, there were eight faculties from eleven faculties served. In Kuala Lumpur campus, The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and Faculty of Dentistry are located while The Faculty of Medicine is operating in campus at Cheras. UKM had been known as the research university where it offers courses that can lead to the development of the country.   At the undergraduate level, the University offers a complete range of courses with a total of 98 disciplines,

• Bachelor of Engineering

For both part time and full time basis for selection had been offered at postgraduate level which had centralize by Centre for Graduate Studies, which was established in 1983. It offers a broad range of coursework or research-based programmes and it also work together with other national and international institutions of higher learning.

All programmes in UNITEN are designed to suit the academic requirements of the National Accreditation Board. At the same time the engineering and accounting degree programmes are designed to satisfy the requirements for membership to the relevant professional bodies such as Board of Engineers Malaysia and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).  Foundation programmes that suitable for students with good results in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) that satisfy the qualification also had been offered. A place in the related bachelor degree programme will most likely be guaranteed for students who pass the foundation programmes.The university has four colleges supported by one institute, which is The Institute of Liberal Studies.

In conclusion, both UKM and UNITEN offered a wide range of studies for students. There were lots of choices that can give them knowledge that will ensure them a good job in future. In overall, all universities will provided better programmes for better future. It is in the student hand whether to choose appropriate programmes.
